Hi,

I was told several years ago that the only way I was ever going to experience ANY type of knee pain relief was through knee replacement. Surgery scared me. I didn't have insurance and was working from paycheck to paycheck. So, I went to a Seattle knee doctor and asked for his opinion. He said my the initial recommendation of knee replacement surgery was unnecessary.

I was so relieved! I think I hugged that wonderful man. He said with my condition I would have to continue seeing him for regular treatments. I get laser pain therapy about every 3 months. It's a painless procedure and my knee pain is instantly relieved. Ocassionally, I have some tenderness or soreness the next day or two, but that's it!

I just want you all to know there are other options out there, but then again there are always cases when knee replacement is inevitable. I do recommend seeking a second opiinion though. I'm certainly glad I did.
