Hi,
I am investigating a similar problem. I had my TKR done in France in August 2011. It went well and apart from a lateral 'clonk', I am pain free and have a full range of motion. The 'clonk;, however, is getting worse and now occures as I walk. Is yours like this?

Hi I had a TKR in July 2011 and have suffered pain and 'evil' clunking of my patella. My surgeon prefers to try and overcome this problem with physio rather than surgery. Understandable I know but this painful condition is hampering my physio/recovery! The physiotherapist has tried to strap the knee cap to relieve the pain and this only worked on the first occasion. I am becoming depressed with this problem and am having second thought about having my left TKR done! Has anyone out there got or had this problem?
